We love our fireplace. Our home is small and warm.During the winter the fireplace is enought to keep it warm in here. But with the baby arriving in late October, we will not be using it this year. I started looking around the internet for decorating ideas. The most popular and classic one is of course candles. But i am not a fan on candles, neither of classic. So, i decided to use paper decorations. I bought red paper and the result was this…
The ball on the left is a Polish Star. I used the instructions from How About Orange for making this one. I cut two circles, 32cm diameter each, to make a large ball. The decorations on the right are origami ornaments. You will find the instructions for these at All About Origami. I made a large one, 17cm long, and two smaller , 10cm each. I hanged these from the lid chain of the fireplace. Now it is decorated without being stuffed!
Enjoy your week !
