How To Decorate Plant Pots

- Home Decor

The sun is out! Well. it was for a few days last week! Such beautiful, warm days! We spent all morning in our small balcony! Preparing for the season! Speaking of spring …our rhynchospermum died, so we threw that  away! I am a terrible gardener! I have even managed to kill cactuses! But flowers are so pretty! So we bought a few to fill our small, plastic purple – and a pink one- pots! So without further ado here’s how to decorate plants pots, using small tiles.

Decorating Plastic Pots

And you know what else we got? Glass tiles for decorating our planters! I found some that were the exact purple as our planters! Why miss that?

  • Plastic plant pots of your taste, i used purple round ones.
  • Glass tiles, i used square purple tiles (2x2cm), glittered (1x1cm) ones and also purple ones in various shapes for the smaller pot. But as always the color, size and shape options are endless!
  • Cold silicone glue
  • White glue
  • Glitter. I mixed white glue and glitter for the grout i made for the small pot. But if you do not like all that mess, you can use liquid glitter glue.

For the small pot i used  tiles in various shapes. Grout? Yes, of course i added grout! I mixed white glue with glitter for doing that!

And for the larger pot i used square 2x2cm purple  tiles. Just for adding that special something i also added 1x1cm glittered tiles! I used cold silicone glue for gluing the tiles on the plastic planters.
