Tired of Your Bed? How About An Easy Makeover?

- Home Decor
Contact Paper Furniture Makeover

I am not just tired of our bed! I never really liked it to be honest! But since i only had 2 designs to choose from, i settled with it! That light brown, beige and silver combination is not my style!!!! And i finally got rid of it!  The color combination, not the bed!

How i did that? Simple ! I used contact paper and experimented with color ! We do not have the space required for painting it, so contact paper was the best solution for an easy, low cost, indoor friendly makeover!

Easy Bed Makeover Using Contact Paper

Because i wanted a classic headboard, with no gaps and holes on it, we used pieces of wood for covering it up and making it even.

Bed makeover

For the bed frame i used an amazing white contact paper from DC-FIX. It looks and feels like white lacquered wood! And for the headboard i chose a floral pattern that was on sale, $2 for one roll!

And the best part? We can easily get a new headboard for our fall decor! In less than 1 hour!

Contact Paper Ideas

I love how easily our bed looks like brand new! I am so excited with contact paper! I might even use it for the dresser and nightstands makeover!

Have you made any contact paper projects? Did you like the result?

And this is how our bedroom looks today. Finally a room i love. Color is not for me!

Καταπληκτικό! Δεν έχω λόγια! Πόσο απλό και μοιάζει σαν καινούργιο κρεβάτι! Πω πω ιδέες! Έχω ξετρελαθεί! Γεια στα χέρια σου!

My first thought was also paint! But it’s difficult to do that if you live in a rental appartment! So, i tried contact paper!

I haven’t used contact paper much, but my daughter uses lots of duct tape to decorate with. She has recovered a tv stand, the backs of a book shelf, purses and lot of other little things. Its’ a great wayto change up your decor when you change your mind or style. Thanks for the tip!
